Coastal foraging is a summer experience with exciting
flavours and knowledge in a unique environment in northern Bohuslän. During the
walk to the sea, we taste beach plants such as campion, violet and sea aster.
If we spot clams and oysters, we’ll take a closer look at them too.
Once we've reached a granite rock, we jump
into the water with cyclops and snorkels to admire and explore the seaweed. You
will learn which species are good to eat, what they contain, how they are
harvested in a gentle way and cooked. You then join in and cook a lunch that
contains the seaweed we picked. Max 4-5 people. This event also suits children.
The price includes a seaweed lunch, loan of harvesting equipment, the Seaweed Guide (in Swedish), masks, snorkel,
weight belt and possibly fins and possibly a wetsuit if we have your size
available. Bring: swimwear, own water bottle.
